Starting a photography business can be overwhelming- nevermind opening and outfitting an entire studio as well! You need to buy all your camera gear: camera bodies (dslr or mirrorless, or even film?), camera lenses, lighting equipment (flashes, strobes, modifiers, triggers, and then accessories like white balance meters, flash gels), furniture and ecor for your studio, props, outfits, and then the software to be able to manage and even automate your business. The lists below are some of my favorite products I’ve purchased for my photography business and studio over the years to help you get a head start on where to look.
