I last worked with this family when they knew they were pregnant, but hadn’t even announced yet! I love documentary style at home sessions with newborns. You don’t have to worry about leaving your house, or whether your baby will be perfect and sleepy, or all the other pressure that can come with newborn photos. For these we kept it super simple- they just cuddled on their bed, feeding the baby (an the toddler!) when they were hungry. When big brother woke up we added him to the photos also. Both moms are breastfeeding so I wanted to make sure to incorporate that, and especially tandem breastfeeding with both boys! We kept things low key and they relaxed and watched their boys interact, and soaked in all the newborn snuggles.
