We got home from Mystic just ahead of the storm. We didn’t realize how bad it would actually be, we get storm warnings all the time. We ended up sitting in the bedroom, watching the local news coverage. There were multiple storm cells that turned into tornadoes, and there were a few that touched down in the Springfield area- the damage was pretty extensive, one of the worst in the area. the initial storms passed us (after warnings that they were rotating, and we realized we have no basement, or rooms without windows, so we were lucky) but the last one gave us some heavy thunder, and the most amazing lighting I’ve ever seen. It was almost constantly lighting up. I got some video, most of our neighbors were standing outside watching, as well.
