When hobbies collide: fish and photography. It still blows me away that I can actually get decent photos of tetras after so many years of trying so hard with a point & shoot that just didn’t have the shutter speed, and the on-camera flash obviously doesn’t help with a glass tank. But higher shutter speed and off camera flash means I actually have some photos of my neons! I plan on getting some cardinal tetras to bump up the school, I actually like them better but they’re about 3x as expensive, so I started with neons.

Had a great weekend down in CT. We stayed with my dad & step-mom who have 4 cats which is nice when we have to leave our cats at home. This is Rob with one of their cats, Buddy.

I took some photos of Kristen and her handsome pony(ish) Riley. I have a bunch of editing to do but I love this one, he’s jumping so huge and adorably!

Went to Union Cemetery again to take some photos today- I only took my 35mm and macro adapter. It actually ended up being too sunny to take the wide-open aperture photos I wanted to, but I got a few decent shots. I think the caterpillar/inchworm/whatever it is is my favorite.

This is the new lip stain I got. I usually don’t wear anything on my lips but I like how this is like a marker and not sticky at all. This is another shot with my 35mm lens, which I really love for shots like this.
